In order to achieve this goal, the development policies of this Institute in this topic have been studied as the main question of the research. The research in terms of method and combined nature, arises from the theory of data foundation (qualitative) and descriptive-survey (quantitative). The statistical population of the research in the qualitative section includes experts in the field of performing arts at this Institute. The statistical population of the quantitative part consists of managers, experts and educators of this Institute. Theoretical sampling method and theoretical sample size is density.The qualitative measurement tool is the interview and the quantitative measurement tool is a closed questionnaire. The questionnaire contained 72 closed questions and a 5-point Likert scale was used in the questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed among 30 managers, experts and educators of this Institute. The analysis of the results using SPSS 20 software indicates that the development challenges of this Institute in cultural and artistic centers are mostly influenced by the categories of education, finance, management, rules and policy. هدف پژوهش، شناسایی چالش های فرآروی کانون پرورش فکری کودکان و نوجوانان در توسعه هنرهای نمایشی است. در مسیر رسیدن به این هدف، سیاست های توسعه ای کانون، در این حوزه نیز بعنوان سوال اصلی پژوهش، بررسی شده است.تحقیق از لحاظ روش و ماهیت ترکیبی، برخاسته از نظریه داده بنیاد (کیفی) و توصیفی – پیمایشی(کمی) است. جامعه آماری پژوهش در بخش کیفی شامل خبرگان در زمینه هنرهای نمایشی در کانون است.جامعه آماری در بخش کمی را مدیران، کارشناسان و مربیان کانون پرورش فکری کودکان و نوجوانان تشکیل میدهد. روش نمونه گیری نظری و حجم نمونه نظری تراکمی است. ابزار اندازه گیری کیفی مصاحبه و ابزار اندازه گیری کمی پرسشنامه بسته می باشد. پرسشنامه حاوی 72 سوال بسته بود واز مقیاس طیف 5 تایی لیکرت در پرسشنامه استفاده شد .پرسشنامه بین 30 نفر از مدیران، کارشناسان مربیان کانون پرورش فکری کودکان و نوجوانان کانون توزیع شد. تحلیل نتایج  بااستفاده از نرم افزار SPSS 20، حکایت از آن دارد که چالش های توسعه ای کانون پرورش فکری کودکان و نوجوانان، در مراکز  فرهنگی وهنری ، بیشتر متاثر از مقولات آموزشی، مالی، مدیریتی،قوانین و سیاستگذاری است. بر اساس پژوهش انجام شده، و دیدگاه مدیران، کارشناسان، مربیان و خبرگان کانون، در پایان پیشنهاداتی در جهت بهبود شرایط لحاظ گردید.
